Break My Heart For What Breaks Yours!

When I went to Lake Center Christian School our school would sing a song often and in it one of the lines is “Break my heart for what breaks yours, everything I am is for Your Kingdom’s cause as I walk from earth into eternity!” Now, several years later, I am working at a restaurant and the song came on as I am currently writing this! I had the privilege to go back to the Dominican Republic for the third time! Little did I know just how much this song would speak to me on a greater level! The Lord truly broke my heart! He opened my eyes and my heart for His precious people! Someone said everyone should go on a missions trip at least once in their lifetime! I would wholeheartedly agree! The Lord revealed Himself in a newer and fresher way! I heard His voice like never before! And in that instant, I found my calling! My mission is the mission of Jesus! My mission is stopping for that one! My mission is to love the person in front of me! Sometimes, listening to that still small voice can be scary. Do it! I promise you that life with Jesus is so much better! You will never regret His lead! Being back in the states and going back to school and work has not been easy but I know this is the season He has me in! I need to stay faithful where I am at! In time, He will allow me to return to the Dominican! But for no, I need to trust the process and continue to pray “break my heart for what breaks Yours!”
