Let Him Go

She was in love with a man who wasn’t committed to her. He loved the idea of her but not her. Not really. She wasted her time making him happy. She didn’t like the idea of losing him because she didn’t like to be alone. So she decided to settle. Everybody around her was getting engaged, married, and making babies. All the while she was stuck. Stuck with a man she could not let go of because she loved him. She loved him so much that she was willing to do anything to keep him. Meanwhile, she was hurting. She wondered what was so wrong with her. Why does everyone else around her get a happy ending and she is stuck in a relationship that isn’t going anywhere. So she decided to do the most painful thing in her life, she decided to let him go. She decided to trust that God is in control of her future and has the best plans. She decided to set her eyes on Jesus and let Him be her Comforter. He is making beauty out of her ashes. She is deciding to trust Jesus as she is still waiting for her Prince Charming.
