For His Glory!

When I think about all the mistakes that I have ever made, I still ask God, “how could You possibly love me? I don’t deserve Your love. I ran from you over and over again yet you still pursued me. You never once gave up on me. When I wanted to give up on me, You didn’t. When I was faithless, You remained faithful!” One of the songs I’ve been listening to lately is ‘Mistakes’ by Unspoken. In it the band sings, “All of my mistakes woven through my story all the mess I make God use it for Your glory Every wrong turn it’s true led me right here to You I may lose my way nothing’s greater than Your grace not even my mistakes.” Wow! There is so much truth in these lyrics. We all make mistakes and we all sin because we are human. But we can either choose to dwell on our mistakes and feel hopeless or we can choose to pick ourselves up, repent, and turn to the One who loves you no matter what! Also, I have learned that mistakes are life lessons and our messes can be used as messages for others. Your story can impact someone you may not even be aware of. Our mistakes, our sins, our shame does not define us. Christ defines us. His death and resurrection gave us life! We are made righteous! Everything in our lives, good or bad, is used for His glory and purpose! He has made you and He will carry you and you are destined for greatness! There is beauty in your ashes. Mistakes are a part of life. But His grace is enough! Your story = His glory!
